BEVA has reported record numbers at its congress, with nearly 1,000 vets having registered to attend.
Organisers also enjoyed “record” exhibition space sales at the event. BEVA said equine vets and mixed practitioner numbers increased by four per cent this year, with more than half of delegates being qualified for more than a dozen years, so are likely to be directors, partners or senior practice members.
Chief executive David Mountford said: “Delegates gave us four-plus star ratings, while 97 per cent would recommend us and 84 per cent said we provided great value. Speakers appreciate the prestige and made-for-purpose lecture theatres and exhibitors get to see the right sort of customers. Added to this, BEVA is charitable organisation that ploughs and surplus back into the industry, and we’re left with a unique atmosphere.
