Lying face down on a skeleton, your chin inches from the ice, arms by your side, hands gripping the handles, legs extended ready to face the run, your challenge starts as you learn to slide down a 1,270 metre run at a top speed of 100kph (62mph). Surrounded by Alpine forests this charity event will take place at the Olympic resort in Igls, Austria where the Great British two man bobsleigh team, Tony Nash and Robin Dixon won gold in 1964.
The Ice Challenge Overview:
The Ice Challenge will take place over three days and will comprise of you being trained and supervised by Winter Sports Olympian Tony Wallington. Tony has competed in the Olympic bobsleigh, as well as captained the British team through five Olympic winter games and will be your guide and mentor throughout this exhilarating skeleton experience.
