Blue Cross Names Neglected Ponies After Bread

Seven neglected ponies being cared for by Blue Cross have been named after breads as a tribute to the BBC’s The Great British Bake off. Staff at the charity’s Rolleston rehoming centre are fans of he show and hope the quirky names will draw more attention to the ponies that are soon ready for fostering.

Bagel, Brioche, Ciabatta, Crumpet, Crouton, Panini and Pumpernickel were taken in after being found in a neglected state by the RSPCA.
