NVS' Customer Orderline department has been developed to effectively assist your practice in all aspects of ordering.
A new telephone system was installed in March 2003 along with 3 fax lines to ensure that all practices receive a fast, effective response to enquiries. Furthermore there are now 10 full time and 6 part time staff working within this department ensuring that there is cover at all times. However, to help us help you, it is advisable that the bulk of your order is placed before 4pm, and then topped up if required.

Orders can be placed up to 7pm, all day Saturday and up to 10am on Sunday: by Vetcom, most veterinary computer systems, fax or answerphone, for delivery Monday.

Placing Orders

At NVS we provide flexible ordering options in order to meet the needs of our customers. Orders can be placed via electronic transfer, telephone or fax and our order line teams are available from 8.30am to 7.00pm to process your order. Our fully trained team can also assist with any customer enquiries. We understand that our customers will often need to place orders over the weekend. We can receive orders up to 10am on Sundays for delivery the next working day. There are various IT options available for you to place orders, enabling you to qualify for ‘on-line’ discount where applicable.

Alternatives
In the unlikely event that a product is not available, our customer order line team will endeavour to offer you an alternative product where possible.

Controlled Drugs
You can also place orders for controlled drugs; however these require additional legal requirements. When ordering controlled drugs an original prescription is required for schedule 2 drugs, but a faxed prescription will suffice for schedule 3,4 & 5 (the order line team can provide help with any of these products in line with legislation). A comprehensive list of the schedules is available by request, as is a Controlled Drug Requisition form pad.
