NVS' Customer Orderline department has been developed to effectively assist your practice in all aspects of ordering.
A new telephone system was installed in March 2003 along with 3 fax lines to ensure that all practices receive a fast, effective response to enquiries. Furthermore, there are now 13 full time, and 3 part time staff working within this department ensuring that there is cover at all times. However, to help us help you, it is advisable that the bulk of your order is placed before 4pm, and then topped up if required.

Orders can be placed up to 7pm, all day Saturday and up to 10am on Sunday: by Vetcom, most veterinary computer systems, fax or answerphone, for delivery Monday.

Placing Orders

Orders can be placed electronically, by fax or by telephone. When ordering please quote your account number and use NVS product codes wherever possible. Whilst orders are accepted up to 7pm Monday to Friday for next day delivery, it helps if the majority of the order can be placed before 4pm, following this, orders can be added to as many times as required before 7pm. Emergency orders placed before 10am on Sunday will be delivered on Monday.

Alternatives.
National Veterinary Services have always been very proud of their service level, i.e. product availability to order, which has been constantly tracked at 98% including manufacturers to follows. On occasions products are unavailable from manufacturers for several weeks , even months, however, there is usually an alternative product available. NVS are pleased to offer this alternative system, enabling you to fulfil practice requirements.

Controlled Drugs.
By law, these products cannot be supplied by NVS without the receipt of a prescription signed by a vet. Schedule 2 drugs require an original ink prescription, while for schedule 3, 4, and 5 dugs it can be faxed. A comprehensive list of the schedules is available by request, as is a prescription order form pad.
