Cambridge
Specialist Laboratory Service
Cambridge
Specialist Laboratory Services was established by a group of laboratory
scientists who have worked in the specialist field of veterinary endocrinology
and biochemistry all of their working lives.
A
hallmark of the assay services provided by the laboratory is the use of
gold standard technology and methodology. For example, radio-immunoassay
methods are still considered to provide the most precise and accurate
results for many hormone assays. Many laboratories do not have the skills
or facilities to undertake radio-immunoassay. All assays are run in duplicate
and are subject to strict quality assurance
Cambridge
Specialist Laboratory Services provides veterinary surgeons in practice
with a hormone and specialist biochemistry assay service of unsurpassed
quality. The accuracy and quality of our results is assured. You can have
confidence in your diagnosis.

History and Development
The businesses of the operating companies have been part of the same group
for more than 20 years. These companies were brought together under the
Dechra Group as a result of the management buy-out from Lloyds Chemists
plc in 1997.
The Directors believe that the close relationship between
the three operating businesses which has been established over the past
20 years has contributed to the Group's success to date.
