DEPOT MANAGER – GLOUCESTER

Based in Stoke on Trent, National Veterinary Services is the leading wholesaler to the veterinary industry, providing a next day delivery service through its network of distribution depots, throughout the United Kingdom.

Reporting to the Transit Transport Manager, a vacancy has arisen for an experienced Depot Manager, to control the delivery operation of our Gloucester Depot. The depot serves an area along the M5 corridor between Birmingham and Bristol, into south Wales and Warwickshire areas, utilising a fleet of eleven vehicles, on a fixed route basis.

This is very much a hands-on role and the successful applicant will have a proven track record in man management and excellent interpersonal skills, plus a good geographical knowledge of the area. A National Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) in Road Haulage Operations would be an advantage although not essential.
