A service offering pet owner-friendly content for use on practice websites and e-newsletters has been launched by online veterinary content provider Vetstream.
The service features articles written by veterinary professionals on topics relevant to small animals. Preventive health is a particular focus with topics including:
- the risk to dogs from chocolate or swimming in ponds with blue-green algae;
- common health problems, including dental issues and tick removal; and
- seasonal advice, including helping dogs stay cool in summer and to cope with the firework season.
The service is available as an ass on to Vetstream’s web-partner email package, which offers practices the capability to send targeted emails to clients. They will be provided with three news articles per month or can request articles on a particular topic.
Managing director of Vetstream Mark Johnston said: “Time is the enemy in a busy practice, even for those with best intentions of keeping in close and regularly contact with their clients.”
