Lintbells to unveil rebrand at BSAVA

Lintbells Veterinary Logo

Veterinary practices have championed the Lintbells brands and been instrumental in the company’s success, according to Lintbells co-founder John Howie. That’s the reason why the company has chosen to unveil its rebrand at BSAVA Congress this April on stand 127. Lintbells brands include YuMEGA Itchy Dog, the UK’s number one* veterinary skin supplement and YuMOVE, the fastest growing joint supplement brand.

The rebrand includes a new look and the use of a trademarked source of green lipped mussel – Vitaease™ – which offers a highly concentrated source of omega-3. Known for validating the strong evidence base for its products, Lintbells has taken a very different approach to supplements and it has clearly hit a chord with veterinary professionals.

The fresh, new look will more clearly communicate the company’s head and heart approach, blending the best of science with an appreciation of the love people feel for their pets. Changes to packaging will include colour coding, enabling pet owners to quickly identify the right product and some products will be renamed to more clearly communicate their benefits, most noticeably YuMPRO becomes YuDIGEST and YuMEGA Plus becomes YuMEGA Itchy Dog.

The company is also launching a new-look website that will include articles on pet care that practices will be able to link to on social media and from their practice website.

Vets and VNs will be able to have any questions they might have answered by the Lintbells veterinary team, as well as learn more about the company’s strict policy on sourcing quality ingredients.

About Lintbells

For Lintbells, every product starts with a pet in need. Based in Weston in Hertfordshire, Lintbells researches, formulates and sells high quality, innovative supplements that aim to improve the lives of dogs, cats and horses. It’s a commitment the company takes very seriously and has resulted in products that support skin and coat condition, digestive health and joint care.

Established in 2006 by John Howie and John Davies, Lintbells has a strong focus on scientific validation of its products, working with experts such as the Royal Veterinary College and New Zealand’s Marlborough Research Centre. But it doesn’t stop with the science because helping pets is at the core of the business.

At all levels of the Lintbells’ organisation there’s a realisation that collectively, everyone has a responsibility to help keep pets healthy and happy by providing effective, high quality, pet supplements at affordable prices.

And it seems those efforts are increasingly appreciated by pets and their people. By the end of 2015, 50 million YuMOVE tablets had been sold to pet owners in more than 15 countries.
