It’s been quite a year for Lintbells as the company reaches its landmark first 10 years in business. The work that comes with a major relaunch and a new website was made all worthwhile in April when the company received a Queens Award for Enterprise and now the winning streak is continuing as Pets at Home has awarded Lintbells its ‘Best Multi-Channel Supplier’.
The award was given to Lintbells because the Pets At Home team felt that the company had done an outstanding job in driving its brands across all their principle channels, including in-store, online and through its popular VIP magazine. Each channel requires a unique approach so it’s an especially prestigious award to win.
Lintbells was also runner up in the Best VIP supplier award.
Co-founder John Howie says it’s all down to the fantastic team Lintbells has in place at its offices near Weston and beyond, “Every member of the Lintbells team knows how important our stockists are and goes out of their way to offer best-in-class support. We really value those relationships so it’s been fantastic to find that Pets at Home recognises that what we do is industry-leading.”
It was a particularly proud moment for the company’s co-founders as they received the award exactly 10 years after they incorporated the business (on 8th September 2006). John Howie’s fellow co-founder John Davies commented, “Our pet and vet stockists have been so supportive. We’ve come a long way thanks to our customers so this is a tremendous accolade for us to receive on this very special day.”
For Lintbells, every product starts with a pet in need. Based in Weston in Hertfordshire, Lintbells researches, formulates and sells high quality, innovative supplements that aim to improve the lives of dogs, cats and horses. It’s a commitment the company takes very seriously and has resulted in products that support skin and coat condition, digestive health and joint care.
Established in 2006 by John Howie and John Davies, Lintbells has a strong focus on scientific validation of its products, working with experts such as the Royal Veterinary College and New Zealand’s Marlborough Research Centre. But it doesn’t stop with the science because helping pets is at the core of the business.
At all levels of the Lintbells’ organisation there’s a realisation that collectively, everyone has a responsibility to help keep pets healthy and happy by providing effective, high quality, pet supplements at affordable prices.
And it seems those efforts are increasingly appreciated by pets and their people. By the end of 2015, 50 million YuMOVE tablets had been sold to pet owners in more than 15 countries.
