Employees at National Veterinary Services Ltd (NVSL) have hatched a plan to support local charities with an Easter Egg campaign this year.
NVSL is the UK’s leading Veterinary Wholesaler and provider of diagnostic services, its head office and main distribution centre based in Talke, Stoke on Trent. Employees from its offices, depots and sites across the UK have clubbed together to donate more than 800 Easter eggs during the two-week internal campaign.
Martin Riley, Managing Director of NVS, said: “The idea came from our Operations team in Stoke on Trent and, with the company’s support of a 50 egg headstart, they made the campaign come alive and engaged the wider business and other offices.
“Our employees have egg-ceeded our original target of 250 eggs donated and there will be a number of local charities that will benefit. In Stoke on Trent we will be supporting the Signal1 ‘Feel the Love’ Easter campaign, which benefits disadvantaged people across Staffordshire and Cheshire.”
Other charities that will benefit from the NVSL Easter Egg campaign includes:
Stoke City Council Fostering Services, Darenth Valley Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital, JIGSAW Children’s Hospice, Alexander Devine Hospice for Children, Two Moors Children’s Charity, James Hopkins Trust, Torbay Hospital, Yorkshill Children’s Hospital, East Anglia Children’s Hospices, Martin’s House Children’s Hospice and some local foodbanks.
