Police Dog’s Career Saved

A police dog’s career has been saved by surgeons at Newmarket-based vets Dick White Referrals after senior officers paid a reported £3,000 for a cataract operation.

Ozzy, aged eight, part of the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire dog unit based in Alconbury, Cambridgeshire, has now returned to work and, on this first assignment, found 50 rocks of crack cocaine in Peterborough.
