ROYAL CANIN sponsored CPD event to support entire practice

ROYAL CANIN® is hosting two courses in June as part of its continued co-sponsorship of the 2016 regional CPD events organised by VPMA and SPVS, in partnership with Zoetis. The ‘Client Focussed Marketing’ course will be held in the Midlands and ‘The Consulting Nurse’ course will be held in Milton Keynes.

The ‘Client Focussed Marketing’ course, being held on Wednesday 8th June, will be hosted by Nick Steele from Zoetis who will combine theory and examples of different marketing strategies from different practices, including new start-ups and competition facing practices, to advise on the best communication methods to get your key messages across to your target audience. The course will introduce marketing basics and help practices create their own bespoke marketing plan. In addition, Zoetis will share its latest thoughts on persona based marketing, understanding the different types of client and tailoring marketing strategies accordingly.

On Thursday 30th June, the popular ‘The Consulting Nurse’ course will be hosted by Clare Hemmings from ROYAL CANIN and Brian Faulkner from The Colourful Consultancy. Brian will explore common issues and communication strategies for nurse consultations, the psychology of client satisfaction, how to work effectively with other colleagues and the importance of keeping to time.

Clare will offer a range of options for nurse clinics, including weight management, animal behaviour, managing diabetes and geriatric care. Tips will also be provided on how to promote and run these options, as well as how to measure the outcome.

Members of BVNA will be offered discounted member rates at this event.
