A Seagull found itself sporting a bright new look after falling into a vat of curry.
The bird took a tumble while scavenging in a food factory bin, Luckily, it was plucked from its plight by workers at the Wales site and taken to Vale Wildlife Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre in Gloucestershire. Staff then used washing up liquid to remove the orange hue.
Writing in Facebook, VN Lucy Kells said: “I don’t think any of us have experienced such an orange, greasy gull to deal with before. We’ve cleaned him up and he’s doing well”. once its feathers’ natural oils have returned, the gull will be released.
