The Evolution of Cat Anatomy and Movement

The evolution of cat anatomy and movement was explored at a one-off event that saw a postmortem performed on a cheetah in front of a live audience. “The Wild Cats Uncovered: movement evolve” event, hosted by University College London and the RVC at its Camden campus, brought vets, zoologists, biologists and student together. The postmortem on the cheetah, which died of natural causes, revealed insights about the individual animal and the cat family. The walking the cat family back project is funded by the Leverhulme trust.
