CPD charity Vet Trust celebrated its 25th anniversary at its two-day conference in Stirling.
More than 140 delegates enjoyed a programme of companion animal, nursing, equine and production animal CPD, plus practice management stream supported by SPVS/VPMA.
Plenary lectures were given by Harry Haworth, of the Scottish SPCA, on welfare and whether the profession is doing enough, and Freda Scott-Park, of the Link Group, highlighting the role of the role of the vet in recognising domestic abuse through animal abuse and what to do in those circumstances. Proceedings were led by outgoing chairman Mervyn Drever. The trust welcomed Samantha Woods as its new chairman.
